John is from the Assumption community and is a 2008 graduate of Assumption High School.

He graduated from Nicholls State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree and obtained his RN. John worked in the hospital setting until 2018.

In March of 2018, John joined the team at Divinity where he provides care as a field nurse.
