Maya was raised in the St. Charles Community and is a 2003 graduate of Thibodaux High School. She graduated from Nicholls State University in 2009 with an ASN degree. After graduation, she worked in the Medical Surgical Unit and then in the Emergency Department at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center until 2014. In the pursuit of a work-life balance, she began her journey with Divinity Home Health in April 2014 as field RN and is now serving the team as a field nurse.
